Timberhub offers compliance support services, including tools relating to Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste ("PPWR"): a packaging portfolio, support for declarations of conformity, and material declarations exchanged between suppliers and their customers.
The compliance services provide workflows, document handling and record-keeping only. They do not constitute legal advice, and their use does not guarantee compliance with the PPWR or any other regulation. Each user remains solely responsible for its own regulatory obligations and for the accuracy and completeness of the information it enters.
Material declarations and declarations of conformity created through the compliance services are statements made by the issuing company under its own responsibility. Timberhub is not a party to such declarations, does not verify their content, and accepts no liability for any reliance placed on them by a recipient.
Declarations may be signed using a simple electronic signature. Timberhub records signing evidence (signer identity, timestamp, content hash and email confirmation) and provides it as recorded, without warranting the identity or authority of the signer.
An issuer that discovers a declaration to be inaccurate must promptly correct or withdraw it. Where an issuer withdraws or re-issues a declaration through the compliance services, Timberhub will make reasonable efforts to notify recipients holding an active link to it. Such notification is a service feature and does not relieve the issuer of its own duty to inform its customers.
Users control who receives links to their declarations and are responsible for sharing them appropriately. Links may be opened by recipients who do not hold a Timberhub account.
